Professional Day are policy makers and practitioners,
including all licensed care providers. The purpose of this
conference is to address the persistent issues of health
disparities affecting LGBTQ communities and people living
with HIV, including denial of care, discrimination, and/or
ignorance of their health conditions. Our purpose is to
provide participants with the latest research and best
practices on a variety of health conditions so they can
provide optimal care for their LGBTQ patients and people
living with HIV and to create inclusive and culturally
responsive clinics.
Other health care professionals (physician assistants, nurse
practitioners, nurses, etc.) who participate in this CME
activity may submit their Statements of Attendance to their
appropriate accrediting organizations or state boards for
consideration of credit. The participant is responsible for
determining whether this activity meets the requirement for
acceptable continuing education.
